Application Notes


History Makers Bible School was established by Pastor Sunday Adelaja in order to help Christians carry out their calling in life and transform their nations for God. It was also in response to a prophetic revelation about the reformation God intends to accomplish across Europe through His people. As a training vehicle, HMBS is, therefore, focused on its objectives and will ensure that the right environment for maximum spiritual and practical learning is maintained. The receipt of an application presumes that the prospective student agrees with the objectives of the school and will take an active part in all activities. Please take note of the following:

HMBS guidelines and rules

The course duration is TWO YEARS - Please see details below.
Each academic year of HMBSUK begins in the month of September and runs for nine months until the month of May the following year after which there is a break for three months and then a final year of nine months (i.e a total of 18 months = TWO academic years).

There is a fresh intake of Students EACH year in the month of September, meaning that there are always two overlaping sets of students.

Venue and travel:
The 2008/09 session will be held at Emmanuel Centre, 9-23 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3DW. The centre is just 15 minutes walk from Victoria Train Station. A map to the venue can be accessed from: http://www.emmanuelchurch.org.uk/emnl-contact-map.htm.

Time and punctuality:
The school will run from 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, on the third Saturday of the month, unless stated otherwise (PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE OFTEN TO CONFIRM).

Registration - to mark attendance will commence 30 minutes before the start time (9:30 AM). It is therefore very important that students arrive on time in order to participate in all school activities, including worship, prayer and lectures. Lateness will not be encouraged.

Lectures:
The lectures are designed to equip you with an understanding of kingdom principles for national transformation. They are both spiritual and practical in nature, and based upon the revelation of Scriptures. It is important, therefore, that you are an ardent believer in the authenticity and authority of God's word.

Teaching faculty:
Confirmed names of faculty will be communicated in future publicity.

School activities/assignments:
In order to make the most of our years of studying together, there will be a number of activities, home work and group assignments, in which every student is expected to fully participate. These are designed to maximise learning and application.

Lunch breaks:
Students will be responsible for their own lunch. The possibility of providing lunches through a caterer at the venue will be explored. Final details will be confirmed in future correspondence.

Conduct of students:
Smoking, taking of drugs or consumption of alcohol will not be allowed at the school venue. We expect that prospective students will be free from any substance abuse. If you have any problems in this area, please inform the school for confidential counsel and advice.
